Royce Nama Chocolate Matcha

Published February 8, 2012 by ireneyksoh

A box of my favourite Royce Nama Chocolate Matcha from my darling younger sister to perk me up from my super low mood. OMG! Matcha! That is my favourite flavour. Total love! So sweet and nice of her.

Awesome! I’m kinda bursting with happiness now. This is so amazing. Think I finally understand why my gal friends love to eat lots of chocolates when they were feeling low. I’m so going to eat it slowly. Perhaps a block a day? Or maybe half a block per day? Happiness!

Freshly Made Wholemeal Bread

Published December 31, 2011 by ireneyksoh

After resting for a few days, the oven in my house is made to work again. And this time, my sister made wholemeal bread.  Do not be deceived by its plain looks. It was so delicious, even when eating it on its own. Serious;y, I didn’t know that wholemeal bread can tasted so good.

Til then, I’m off to have more of the bread before its all gone. Bon apetit!

Home Made Fruit Cake

Published December 8, 2011 by ireneyksoh

Something sweet and delicious greeted me the moment I opened my house fridge door for a sip of water. It’s a fruit cake, freshly made by my younger sister. And look at the amount left on the pan. I feel like having all for myself. Seems like she is enjoying herself with all the baking and cooking using the oven. She is now searching online for more recipes. I wonder what she is going to cook next?

Ajisen Ramen

Published August 17, 2011 by ireneyksoh

Thanks to my younger sister, I enjoyed a scumptuous bowl of spicy chashu ramen and other side dishes at Ajisen Vivo City. It’s been such a long time since my last trip.

I’ve never been a avid fan of Ajisen ramen. I only frequent it cos my mum loved to eat their bento set. And nothing delights me more than just the mere sight of my mum munching on her favourite Ajisen Bento set. Now that she is gone, I simply could not find any reason to be there again.

Another Lovely Treat From My Younger Sister

Published April 8, 2011 by ireneyksoh

My younger sister never fails to pamper me with sweet treat everytime after she comes home after shopping or work. And my lovely treat for today comes packed in a mini paperbox. I wonder what’s inside.

Upon opening the box, I’m very tempted by the sweet aromatic scent of the chocolate inside. It kinda make me drool a little. Chocolates never failed to brighten up my day.

Don’t they look lovely to you? You like them? Sorry! But they are all mine and mine alone… Bwahahaz!!!!! Too bad for you… … Me go enjoy my chocolate now…

Super Yummy Magnum Ice Cream

Published March 30, 2011 by ireneyksoh

Nothing cheers me up more than an ice cream treat, especially after a hard days work. But being a miser cum super thrifty person, it had never been my habit to purchase ice creams that cost more than S$2 per stick. And that’s the main reason why magnum ice cream continues to stay in my wishlist despite so many years. Not because I don’t have the money to buy. But rather I don’t have the heart to bring myself to actually buying it.

So when I reached home, feeling all dead beat and tired, to find my younger sister, Jade, had got me a magnum stick. My joys were beyond description. I can faintly see snow white angel wings behind her back and a glowing crown on top of her head! Hallelujah!!!

Out of a sudden, all my weariness seems to fade away by itself ! I’m alive again! The magnum is mine, and only mine alone!!! Bwahahaz!

More Fruit Tea From My Younger Sister

Published November 21, 2010 by ireneyksoh

Just when I am down to last 2 sachets of Bistro tea, my younger sister bought me another lot of fruit tea to try. This time is from Ion Orchard.

Just by the packaging, I can tell that the tea is very expensive. But I never expect it to be so high. I would never have buy it myself, given the fact that I am such a well known miser.

Till my next blog entry, I’ll be off to try out my new tea now….

Treat From My Darling Sister

Published October 17, 2010 by ireneyksoh

My younger sister dropped by my workplace today and treat me to a sumptuous meal at Secret Recipes.

We ordered grilled chicken baked rice, oreo milkshake, fruity milkshake, mushroom soup, potato chips and chocolate banana cake.

Although I didn’t pay for it, I still feel kinda heartache. Never ever spent so much money for a single meal before.

Being a miser for so many years, this is the most luxurious meal ever in my life. Thanks sis!

A New Headphone For Myself

Published July 5, 2010 by ireneyksoh

After attending some workshops at Orchard central, my sister and I took some time to shop around the indoor flea market and stopped in front of a store selling earpiece and headphones.

My younger sister and I were mesmerized by the lovely headphones which was going at S$12.90 for one and $20 for a pair. My sister bought hers immediately but I kinda hold back due to my stingy nature.

But after a while, I changed my mind and went back to get one also. The sweet lady tending the store kindly allow me to top up S$7.10 for a second piece instead of the usual price. I choose a black one. Looks plain but that’s my choice.

I simply love how my music sounds through this headphone and also its portable design.
